Thanks, Ben, for the tutorial. I have a pair of older manual Scotty's I bought back in the mid 80's. I have gotten my use out of them over a 20yr span. Finally went to 4 electrics and a bigger boat. The brakes on those Scotty's have never been adjusted but do indicate they need a slight adjustment on the brake. I never explored taking them apart, your video assures a simple adjustment and probably wouldn't hurt to do a thorough cleaning while apart. 101goodpost101
