Went fly fishing for trout and whitefish yesterday evening, and saw a bunch of Kokes swimming by. I had a glo-bug in my fly box so I tried drifting it trough a group of about 10 of them and on the 4th or 5th cast FISH-ON! Ended up landing a nice 15" male all decked out in his spawning finest, who I released immediately. I picked a bad day to forget the camera...
I may have to go hit the upper river, where it is a more target rich environment.
