Shaver Lake, 4-24-09

The day started off slow with our first fish hooked at about 9am, a nice fat 14 inch kok. After that the we really seemed to stay on them. In about 4 Hours we caught 13 fish with 8 fat keepers between 14 and 15 inches. All were caught on Pink and Orange Hootchie spinners from 45-50 ft near the island and black rock! Cant wait to go back next weekend!

Awesome. Shaver seems to be in good shape this year. Was there a lot of boats out?

not too bad seemed all the boats were scattered but if i had to guess i would say about 15 boats.
