I asked AfDan52 if it was ok to post this and he said it was fine. Dans wife was diagosed with liver cancer a short time ago. well the bad thing about this is she only has a short time left with him. After a doctors visit this week they where told the time was only days.

Dan is a long time member here on KFF and a very good friend. My heart goes out to Dan and his wife and family.

I, too, have lost a couple friends to liver cancer and it is very tough. Dan, you and your family will be in my prayers.

It was sure nice to meet Dan and his son at Bear Lake on the 15th last month, but I was saddened to learn that his wife and family were going through this. It seems rare these days that if you get our age you have not been touched by this cancer thing.

When we last talked, we were going to get together at work for some good discussion. Now that I know what's going on in your life, I'm here to say you have your priorities in the right order. I've been down a similar road twice before. Hope all is as well as can be and don't hesitate to call for a shoulder to lean on.

I want to thank all of my friends here at the Kokanee fishing forums for the comments and Prayers that have come my way. Unfortunatly my Wife and best friend for the last 40 years lost her battle with Liver Cancer this morning. Again Thank you all.

At some point being with her heavenly Father is winning albeit we mourn the loss. Although the battle is over, we'll continue to pray for you Dan and your family as well.
