Don, I can't even imagine fishing in a 16'er again. But it will probably feel like a dance hall if you are used to a 13'er. If you are making a step up because you're tired of the size of your current boat, I recommend jumping 2 sizes, so in your case, an 18'er. Often jumping one size is only a fraction less than going the extra 2'. And a year later you aren't kicking yourself for not going that extra step. When I moved up from my 16'er I had a 19'er in my sights. At the last minute I jumped to a 21'er. It took a couple extra years before I started wanting a bigger boat again. LOL!
