I worked on all variant models of the F111 for over 15yrs at McClellan AFB, Sacramento as a DOD civilian. The Aussies flew the F111C for yrs, we then converted the FB111A to redesignated F111G and sold them to Australia back in the early 90s. The Aussies flew the F111s until they retired them in 2010. US retired F111s in1997.
