steelheaden on the salmon

Talked the girlfriend into a trip up on the salmon river for the infamous steelhead, only my second trip and her first.
Fishing was very slow to very fast and the weather was 20 degrees to 75degrees. rain snow sleet wind and sun. very memorable trip with some awesome fish caught. Fished right in salmon on lemhi hole and way back in Ebenezer.

awesomereport Nice looking fish. I have always like the color schemes of the steelhead. Its been 20yrs since I've done any steelheadin'. Maybe someday again.

Those fish are very beatiful and a hell of a tug when ya hook into one, we will see how they compare to kokes on the dinner table(the smokers smoken away as we speak)
you ought to get up there this is the best run in history, the chinook salmon are supposed be on a record run this year as well.
