Hey everyone, hit Strawberry again this week and it was better than last week (8-3-2011). Less Cutthroats, Less Rainbows, Unfortunately more chubs, but a lot more kokanee. I met back up with Mike this week and also Max, and we fished strawberry for three and a half hours. This is what we kept one rainbow and three kokanee which we already ate for lunch. This is what we released, five cutthroats, one rainbow, and two kokanee. Now this is what we lost right next to the boat three more kokanee. We also had between 20-30 small bites but no hook-ups. We were fishing the mouth of the Narrows on the Strawberry side. 20-35 feet down. Favorite lure was pink crystal dakota spinner behind luhr jensen style hammered nickel dodger. Kokanee fishing is only going to get better until it is time for them to spawn.

The one directly across from haws point, where the old dam was. I am going to try to get back up there friday or saturday.

Thanks, we may just get up there this weekend for a day or two. Come say high if you see a hard top trophy doing the trolling thing.
Kody.

Yes, thanks for the report. I hope to get up there to camp and fish with the grandkids the weekend of the 19-21, though work commitments could shorten or change that.
