Summer Play at the Gorge

My fishing season has been in the pits this year so far. Winter here has leaped over spring right into summer. Situations with my job hasn't helped out any but thats changing for the good now. I managed only a small amount of getting out fishing. I made a one day trip up to the Gorge one weekend and had another 3 dayer a couple of weeks later. I'm heading to the Gorge again this weekend for 4 days this trip starting on Thursday and I'm hoping to see 2 more trips at least before the Koke season starts winding down. I will be at Lucerne with a close friend who will be fishing out of my boat. We plan on a slaying of Kokes and giving him & his family a scenic tour in the canyons by boat. The lake is full pool now and hoping to see less debris floating around vs the last trip. With the holidays behind in July, hopefully there will be somewhat less crowds & the big W not being to much of a factor. I'll be monitoring ch16 so give me a holler if your going to be there. 101ok101 signfishin 101ok101

I may be up Friday Rog and will probably be staying at the docks this go around with the wife. Next week will be going up on Thursday and staying the weekend at KOA. Only one more trip after that. Season has gone by too fast.

All right I give you a holler. Michele will be with me and we'll be there on Thursday. I'll be hopefully fishing with Marlow if things work out his way. He'll be bringing his family. Might be running into some other folks as well.

I'm coming up on Thursday and staying at Hideout (hopefully) until Sunday. I'll be back to Lucerne on Monday with a camper for a couple of weeks looking for some big macs.

Rob, you are so right ,the season has gone bye way to fast. It won't be long til the end of the koke season with be here. I do have to say,that this year has been a lot better year then last year.

When I plan for a quick trip to spend a day there, its usually the spur of the moment decision.
