Super early

I was wondering if anyone tries for kokes on the part of the lake that isn't froze up around this time of year. And if so is it worth it? I am seriously withdrawing from koke fishing. I have the last of my summers catch thawing out for the smoker now and ate some fillets last night and now I'm dieing to get back out into them. lol

It is worth a try. I couldn't wait a couple of years ago and had some success along the ice. Best success was trolling real slow, right under the surface to 5 feet down during warmest part of the day. Good luck and let us know how it goes.
