Hello I am looking to get into kokanee fishing here in Lake Merwin or Yale for starters this year, I am new to kokanee fishing and have only caught 2 so far on Lake Merwin, and no not this year. I stumbled onto this site while having late night fishing hungers and am very impressed with the details that many of you provide to help enhance our fishing experience. I hope to be able to contribute myself once I know what the heck i am doing but for now I will take what I can from everyone in the Forum. Wet those lines boys and girls

A Bad Day Fishing...

I wouldn't even know how to finish a statement like that...I've never had one !
New to SW Washington, and new to koke fishing...I am sure I can not catch them just as well as I can't catch all the other species I love to chase around.
I and my buddy are both 100% disabled VN combat vets who spend as much time fishing as we can, and we are certainly looking forward to this...Merwyn is an absoute gem!
