Ok,
So you fine members have hooked me! So in my learning process I have quickly deduced I need to create a tackle box just for Kok's! So the question is,,,Who uses what? lets see your fav's and pictures of tackle boxes/bags.
Thanks Doug

I use a few different bags. When I am on a combo trip, I take my giant Cabelas bag that is like a small duffle bag so that I can carry all my koke stuff and standard trout stuff. I also have a smaller bag that will carry around 5 plastic trays that I use when fishing for a single species or riding on a buddy's boat where I don't want to crowd with all my extra gear.

To help you out. I have a two G-Looomis Bags hold 8 speciality boxes plus compartments one for fresh water/the other Salmon Fishing. I have a Sturgeon Box /special box for scents. special loomis boxes just the boxes for my plugs/one for k-11 another for k-14/15/16, one for spinner. EVERYTHING IS PRE TIED and in slip lock carpartment bag pre tied mooching rig/pre tied drops for lead line. I have all my Kokanee pre tied on rollers in boxes. I fish a lot with guides and very impressed with there organization. It also takes years so your on the right track start your kokanee box ASAP. goood luck

In the Spring it rains here a lot and I have no shelter on the boat. So, I've got a large hardside Plano box dedicated to kokes. the trays are long and deep enough to store dodgers/flashers, and the bottom holds many smaller spinner/spoon/hoochie boxes in the ready.

+1 I had to go to the duffle bags. I have accumulated so much gear that the box system became outdated. I have a large one which keeps all and a smaller one that goes on the boat with me. Generally if I'm fishing alone, I have all of my bags. Other than that the larger one takes up too much room.

for those fishing in the rain and snow of the NW spring, especially Wallowa, Merwin, Wickiup etc, can't beat the rain/water proof. Never know when we're going to get a cloud burst.
Cabela's Advanced Angler Storm Proof™ Series Bags with Boxes

go with the X-Large still holds 9 of the big 3750 Plano trays

the Magnums have to be left in the boat or craned out, real arm stretchers and gut wrenchers. don't ask how I know. Salt water gear is heavy.

Hope you all had a great koke year. Had a blast at FG, Wallowa, Merwin and Yale this year. Wore my arms out at FG, gonna have to get an electric koke reel.

Spring chinook, too much snow runoff in the Columbia for too long. Fish just disappeared in trillions of gallons of silt soup

Up river bright fall fish has been a killer year on the Columbia and tribs.
