Wiperslayer and I arrived at 8:30am and started trolling near the dam. Within a few minutes we had the first fish in the boat, it turned out to be a 17” brown. We continued to troll for several hours and covered most of the lake with no luck. Finally we found the right combination of speed and depth and caught a limit of kokes plus two more browns. Lost 6 or more at the boat or a few yds behind the boat. Water temp was 52* and it was overcast all day, it was a nice day to be on the water. We got off the water around 2:30pm. After brining the kokes tonight, I’ll start smoking them tomorrow. Should have some fresh smoked salmon by Wednesday, can’t wait, yum.
