I have not been seeing much about the Gorge so here we go. Me and my daughter took my sister and nephew up for 5 days, we stayed on the Utah side most of the time. We found most of our macks in the antelope area our biggest was 27lbs.

We koke fished around king fisher & Hide out. the size of the kokes for that area was up to 4 lbs.The best set up was a fusion dodge with a pink or orange bill fish squid. If you are not fishing with bill fish squids you need to be, they were out fishing any thing we tried. 1.5 to 2.0 is the speed that worked for us. 10500317_10152125902972447_6823619479194752677_n.jpg10489933_10152125903167447_4226080450082807288_n.jpg

thanks for the report I've been fishing bill fish squids to but didn't try them at the gorge last time my bad I guess, great pics by the way

Very nice! I have some wiggle squids that are similar I believe? I'll have to try.
Thanks for the post!

Reports that I have seen that the kokes were starting to move south on the Wyoming side. Hideout is a good area to get some nice size kokes. I'm chomping at the bit to get back to the Gorge. Those 1day trips are brutal.

We have never got kokes that big out of the hideout area before . We had three or four that were all close to the same.

We didn't start fishing for the kokes until about noon so we had the whole place pretty much to ourselves.

Here are a few more pics.View attachment 7461View attachment 7462
Good job we will be going back on the 24th. Seems like the billed squids are hard to find pm me worthy12

The bill fish squids I use are the Rocky Mountain Tackle brand, the Double glow pink and the pink cotton candy seemed to be the best for us.
