[Fishslammer]

Since Kokanee fishing for the first time about three years ago it has become an addiction. I still fish the ocean, bay, delta and lakes but kokanee is my interest now! I have been learning and watching and catching fish and wanting to go places and try new things. Last night I had a dream and thought about it more and more and this is the trip I came up with. Let me know what you think! Since I live in California(bay area) I would start with running up to Oregon possible Wallowa lake since mapquest shows highway 80 to winnemuca then up. Then head back down and over to Flamkng Gorge. Then on the way back home hit Donner, Tahoe and Berryessa to finish it off! Just a thought but maybe a possible trip in the future.

I have been thinking about a trip also to multiple lakes. One thing that put a damper on the idea is the AIS check stations. Because these open at 7am you would lose the best of the morning fishing. Because of this my trip will now be for only two lakes and I will spend more time at each lake. A traveling circuit of Kokanee lakes would be a blast and photography would be fun too.
