I noticed your in Sacramento. Did you make it to the ISE show last week??? Did you by chance stop by the Gamakatsu booth and check out some of the kokanee hooks!?! I didn't make it down there this year, as my only trip scheduled to Cali is in March for the Fred Hall show in Long Beach. Yeah, the tuna fishermen are just as nuts as us kokanee fishermen!!!

Yes & yes. I was actually very disappointed in the Gami booth. They weren't there to sell anything. Go figure! They had a sample of serveral hook types displayed but nothing for sale. I guess that just gives me justification to make a run to the tackle shop.

Yes we get that alot at consumer shows. Sorry! But we basically set up shop and get a chance to talk to folks about "all" the hooks we manufacture as most retailers can't possibly carry everything we make. But on the plus side though, it's our way of supporting our whoesaler, distributor, retailer, base if you buy locally.
For example, at the Fred Hall show, I think we have 4-5 retailers participating at that show in our buy 2 get 1 free promotion. Folks such as yourself get a chance to take advantage of the retailers shows specials buy purchasing 2 packs of hooks from them and then you can come by the booth and we'll give you the 3rd pack for free!!! Plus, I get to talk fishing with you, about what's hot, what you think we should build, and how much the burgers cost at the show!!!
If you make it to Long Beach stop by and say hello. I'll probably fly in Fri and stay the weekend.
