Vallecito back this year?

Is this the year that Vallecito should be back to normal after its collapse? I figured it would take a couple years for the first replant to mature.

I have heard the population is making a healthy comeback. The DOW plans on stocking another 400,000 fingerlings this April and hope for a 10 to 15% survival rate. It is looking better and better each year.

Vallecito

Been up here on vaca for a week and thought Id try my hand at at the kokanee up here. not too bad. Some nights 2 or 3 and some.......not so much. Heres a pic of one my nephew caught. Hope this means Vallecito is coming back.

Nice chunck! When I was there, the locals didn't pay any attention to them and just talk about the Pike. I hope it comes back solid and becomes a nice sleeper Koke lake.
