Hard to say. I got my Vance's rod through another supplier a few years back and found out it was back ordered after sending payment. After waiting patiently it finally showed up though...and was well worth the wait! thumbsup

I have 2 of Vance's Spiral wraps. I purchased them through Vance in living color when he did his last ISE show in Salt Lake City 3yrs ago. Great rod, love it.

I've been crazy busy and not on this site in quite a while so I just now saw this post. We really took a hit on our rods this year. The problem is we deal with a terrific factory and our history of fantastic quality proves it. What's the problem then?? The rep agency we have to use to utilize this factory is beyond bad!!!!
We ordered rods in November through our traditionally bad channel (rep). They usually take about 90 days to arrive.... We were told they would arrive in March...No rods...Then we were told the end of April....No rods! In the meantime we couldn't get any answers!
This is 2012!! No communication?? No excuses for such a thing, right?? This has been horrible!
The rods showed up last Friday out of the blue. Well, I guess I should say some of the rods showed up. We only received 100 of the model 702 7' rods and 100 of the model 762 7'6" rods. And no 8' rods! What is really weird is the minimum order is 500 rods and within that there has to be a minimum of 150 of the same model....They sent 100's of the two different models totalling 200 which makes no sense!
We filled as much of the back orders as we could. Now we are out of the 7'6" rods and still cannot get the rep to return a phone call or email with any answers.
I'm a rep in the industry for several different factories and cannot believe the lousy service.
Sorry for these terrible delays and I hope the back order's we shipped fill your orders.
At this point in time we don't know if there are any rods in the pipeline or when our next order will arrive.
Hopefully we will hear back from the rep tomorrow!!
