Vexilar Depth Therm. Do you use these? AND...What site do you recommend shop?

In my reading while trying to learn as much as I can, being a second year Kokanee addict. I have read several times about the temp range that the fish will tend to search out.

I came across this Thermometer on Kokanee tackle.com while putting in a order for some Radical glow beads and assorted other items.

My question is this: Do you veterans attempt to find the correct temp at depth for fish location...OR do you just use your electronics? Maybe both??

I had good success (as good as a total newbie can have) last year just following my electronics (Lawrance Elite 7 HDI).

One more thing....What online site do most shop at for best selection and price?

I've got a thermometer but don't use it much... too busy targeting the fish i see on the fishfinder. As far as tackle check out Kokanee Tackle .com. For making your own lures check out the list of component companies in the Tackle Craft section.
