Wallowa Lake Does It AGAIN!!!

The first reports are comming in from the Kokanee Capital of the World!!! Wallowa Lake has produced what will be a new World Record Kokanee, just over 9 lbs. 101chromefish101 It looks like a silver football.

ifish has pics of a 9 lb 1 oz caught here june 1,which is 6 oz short.is there another one than it?

I think the record set last year was 9lb 8oz but I'm not sure. Whatever it was, it was more than the old Canadian record which was over 9lbs also. But that shouldn't take away from the significance of such an awesome fish as a 9 pounder would be. Congratulations to whoever caught it.

That is an awesome fish, however the record set by Ron Campbell last year weighed 9.67# (9 pounds 10 and 3/4 ounces). I really need to make a trip.
