the state campground is great with both tent only and trailer sites.
make reservations early, like today. place was full last week even in the typhoons and wind.
very clean restrooms and showers.
several motels/hotels in Joseph, about a mile from the lake.
bring groceries, only one small grocery store.
Safeway down the road about 10>15 miles.
boat required for the kokes. marina at state park rents open alum. boats with newer motors.
good boat launch and docks. docks require reservation.
expect wind.
