Has anyone used these for kokes? I've used them with some sucess for trout with flies, but haven't tried them for kokes, the website for them (wigglefin.com) has rigging for kokes but I haven't tried them yet trolling on a downrigger.Any fisherfolks used them yet? Bob R

This is just my opinion so take it for what it is worth. The action imparted by a wiggle fin tends to be quick and tight. I don't view that as optimum for Kokes. I've caught some incidental kokes with them while fishing for trout but it definitely catches more trout than kokes. On a day when nothing else in the box is working, one might consider trying it. It wouldn't be a "go to" or starting line up player for me.

I've got a couple but have yet to try them out. I also think the action might be a bit too much...haven't read too many reports of success with them on kokes. One thing worth trying is trimming the disc to get a slower action and sticking it into the nose of a hoochie.

There are leader stops available from the company that makes them but they weren't available when I bought these a few years ago, I don't want to send off more money so I'll try a bobber stop or a small split shot to get the disc above the lure on leader. Thanks for input, Bob R

I've got some of these in my tackle box. tried them once and there they sit. I wouldn't buy them again for kokanee. By tight action I think he means that they almost vibrate vs. dart back and forth like seen on the video. At least for me anyhow. One of these days i'm going to try some yarn behind one instead of a hoochie, maybe that'll work better.

I think I'll try some maribou type jigs with them, I think that the action of the jig may be more attractive in terms of fluttering. I'll get back to all when the action picks up at American. Bob R

i use them on my slide down line drop rigs for second lure on line out.

work well to impart action to a hoochie only instead of using a Hoochie Thing Wiggle Hoochie which are out of my cheap skate price range.

If you are trying to secure a wiggle fin to the line, you can use a small drop of super glue also. Just a drop on the line, let dry and slide the disc down to it.

Not much luck with kokes with this gear.
