Hi,
Well to start -> Smoked up 40 Koke fillets yesterday (in my Rum brine) and wife got the 1st taste -> "OMG DELICIOUS !"
Got out last night on West Hill, at sunset, and anchored in 47 ft. over my favorite spot.
Hit the "Mother Load thumbsup -> School after school passing under me at 28-34 ft.
Only 2 other boats out there.
Man, the Kokes where going "NUTS" last night.
Had 4 jump "over" my boat and throw the hook.
Got 1 in the boat - throw the hook - and then jumped out.
2 that rocketed to the surface and put on acrobatics that where amazing.
Lastly -> Hooked 1 that rocketed to the surface - threw the hook in mid-air and hit me right in the face.
Talk about getting "Fish Slaped" ! 101shock1101
What FUN!
Got my limit of 8 Kokanee - All around 13 inches and really FAT!
Other 2 boats pretty much got shunked, and we where only 40 ft. apart from each other.
That's the way Koke fishing goes some times.
Another good night and I'll be smoking up another batch of fillets! tongue2
