Hit willard again for Fathers Day the morning was slow but we did manage a few. Found three walleye's in 8' of water about 9 or so and then my electric motor quit. We fired up the trolling motor and went looking for wipers. We trolled between 2 and 2.5 mph managed to get one more cat two more walleye's and a bunch of wipers. We kept 6 wipers and released the rest. We did manage our first triple on this trip as well as catching a catfish on a trolled lure and the other two cats hit the worm harness.

How was the boat traffic or crowds? When Willard is on its almost like thinning the fish population. Thats cool getting a variety. 101ok101

Roger, since you won't ever fish there, I'm going to be forced to make friends with these other guys to catch my first Walleye and Wiper. Nice pictures Jekern.

We launched at 5:30 with one other boat at the ramp. The boat traffic was easily half what it was the week before. I can say the traffic where I was fishing was heavier, but I think that may have to do with last weeks post. Super D I would have no problems taking you fishing for walleye and wiper as long as it is on a weekend and your ok with the possibility of getting skunked. The last two trips to Willard for me have been not the norm..

I like being the scapegoat. I'll be glad to take you Dave but winter is not exactly a good time with these wipers & walleye when you show up. 101idea101
