Going for my first trip to Willard Bay in over 10yrs on Tuesday afternoon 4-28 for some wiper & possible walleye action. Committing to his first trip ever to this watering hole is SuperD. Going in very green to this type fishing we have kokaholic joining us to coach us along. So, between being in a boat on a spring afternoon and having good friends to BS with and wet lines is the perfect recipe to end a day. tooexcited

Tuesday should be decent , I have fished it quite a bit this year I have had my best luck with Berkley flicker shads in fire tiger , purple cougar, rappalla ghost raps in black ,purple and white. 25 to 75 feet in back of a planer board , I have also talked to few guys fishing worm harnesses on bottom bouncers or down riggers freeway bay has been good of late but fish are scattered right now so go all over best speed for me has been 2.2 mph I hope this helps you .

I'm sorry you got sick but that give me a chance to get out there with you guys just give me a couple of days warning , if you have multiple boats its easier to locate fish.

Our last chance will be a Strawberry trip early next week while SuperD is still here. A lot of work being done at his home all of this week.

We just had our makeup trip to Willard. Put 3 walleyes in the box, lost one at the back of the boat, and drive byes keeping us jumping. Unfortunately no wipers. Weather for the most was a hit and miss of showers lately and wind wasn't too much of a factor.

nice job, Willard has been good for walleye and crappie but the wiper action is way down, do to spawning and weather factors but you got something

We had a great trip, got some guys their first walleyes and just good times on the water.I think when the weather and water wqarm back up, the wipers will pick back up. I will take these eyes all day long any day. Thanks again for a great evening on the water Roger and Super D

OMG! Those walleye tasted unbelievable. I might be addicted. Thanks for the guide service, Mark.

I'm looking fwd to hitting Willard again Mark. Thanks for getting Dave & I out for a fantastic evening. Short hours fishing turn into a long time for memories. thumbsup The discussion of BBQ cooking with smoke & an occasional heart arrester with dancing rods indicates a future gathering.
