PUt on a one ounce jig with no hook. Attatch a 8" to 14" leader and your jig. Find a school of Kokanee and put a piece of corn on the hook and place it at the top of the school. Depending on how aggresive they are will determine ho much action you will use. From a 1/2" movement to 24" of a flutter jerk, some were you will entice a bite. I have done this with good success using a simular set up. One more thing, you will have to also find the scent they want the most.
MM'S technique is good but be very slow with the movements. The 1 oz. jig will want to pass up the bait jig on the fall and that will make bite detection difficult. I think I'd paint and pinch another split shot at the head if it wasn't getting the sink you wanted.

I have a couple rigs made up useing those jigs. One florescent pink, the other florescent orange. They're on 6" of mono below 3/4 ounce silver and brass Castmaster spoons. I used heavy mono to help keep them from getting tangled up while jigging...haven't tried them out yet.

Looks good to me. Make up about 3 diffrent patterns and we will go give them a try. How heavy are they?

That will work for what we are going to do! How about a hot pink jig? I dont know what you would call it, but im thinking pink! Maybe even white or black, go nuts tooexcited

It depends on how deep you are fishing. For this set up I use 3/4 to 1.5 Oz. Once this year I was jigging at 135ft. and I had the best luck with 1.5oz. The jig head was 1/32oz.

We wont be fishing very deep, i'd guess 25'.
