I am thrilled to have found and be a part of this forum. It is actually a close friend's fault that I am into kokanee fishing, but nevertheless I am. We started last year and actually fished all winter long at Arrowrock reservoir outside of Boise. We are always in his 21 ft Duckworth. In the winter months we just took Buddy Heaters and ran them inside the enclosure while we watched the poles. We have learned a lot, but there is so much valuable experience on this forum. Hopefully I can contribute.
Last Friday was an awesome day on the water but we only hooked and landed two kokanee all day. Both of them were the nice football shaped 18" that make it worth while though. One on green wedding ring type with spinner blade and one on an orange one. Both at 21 ft depth.
Thank you for your welcome and look forward to getting to know some of you!
