Fished Yale today. It was amazing to see the fishfinder with so many fish being displayed. There was never a time when it was void of fish. Marked them from 25-60'. Needless to say they were hungry and bit everything we put down. To make it last longer I kept swapping out lures. They bit it all. Go up there and help thin out the ranks.101chromefish101

They will have a lot of fun. We fished straight across from Yale Park. Fished in 90-110' of water. Water temp was 62. Don't forget the camera.

Nope

I fished it again last friday and tried 3 different areas. Could only find little guys,8-9". Fished up there about a month or so ago and did catch a few 10" fish. Their stomachs were almost empty of food. Please catch a limit and help out the health of the lake.

Decided to take my boys to Yale because we had heard Merwin was slow.(I have since read a report that sounds like the fish are really deep) We got up there around 10am or so, fished for a couple of hours before the boys just wanted to motor around and go swimming because the day was absolutely perfect! We almost caught a limit in a few hours, all 10 inch fish, and each one on pink hoochies behind sling blades. Fished between 25 and 30 feet across from the boat launch. Since they are small, I plan on smoking them when I get back from vacation.

Yeah Buddy

awesomereport

Thanks for catching some of those tastey little fellas. We need more koke fisherman like you guys there everyday during the summer. Thin out the ranks and hopefully in 3 years we'll see some bigger sized fish.

More thinning

Thinned out the herd this morning. Fished again straight across from Yale Park. Fish bit the best at 40'. Surface water temp 67.7. Overcast with a light breeze. Got get you some.101chromefish101

awesomereport Keep up the good work! I might get out again on Sunday, haven't decided on Merwin or Yale yet. I was thinking about giving Merwin a shot first, then head over to Yale for a bit. Just curious, but does anyone know if you buy the ramp fee at one, does it work at the other site? See ya all on the water!

Yes you can use you daily pass at Yale and Merwin. Never have been to Swift so don't know that answer.
