I fished Ririe today from about 9 to 2. It was good to finally get out. Fishing was slow, but we did hook up 4 kokanee. We landed 3 and lost one at the boat. All the fish we hooked were at 40 feet. Water temp was 71 F. We put in at Blacktail and fished spots along the way that have been productive in the past.
That’s good to hear, exciting even. I wish I would have read this sooner as I would have liked to have given her a try last weekend. Good to see there are some in there. Any size and did they seem to be this years spawners?
I’ll be out of state until late fall but hope to hit the ice. If there’s kokes I’ll be there.
Trident13, they were not very big. Probably 10-12". Not sure if they were this year's spawners as I did not clean them. My buddy caught all the fish, so I did not have to clean any. Good luck on the ice.
