thumbsupThanks for being the first one to kick off this new forum GVF. Those look pretty good. how fast do you troll them and do you put them behind a dodger?

Jason I run then from1.3 to 1.6 mph and I have run them naked or with a dodger mostly with the dodger. I have used the 4" and 5.5" dodgers and they work great.

D J I am in the process of building a web site to buy them as for now I use my email [email protected] . Send me a note and I'll send the info your looking for. Also Ric at Kokaneemart carries 3 of them emerald, sapphire, and amethyst .

I bet the Onyx would do some serious damage at New Melones. I fish bugs with good success, the glow body, and blade, should really help out there. Nice contrast with the stripes. Sign me up!

Very nice site Rich. Will you be adding Dragons to the site? The photo gallery was a littl scary with all the recognizable mugs in there.

New for 2010

Hey all its been awhile I have been working on my site and getting ready for the new Koke season. Come check out the new lures I have for 2010. I think you'll like what I have. The new "fire "lures did well all last year in testing and I think this year will be great.

Thanks
Rich

Those lure's look really neat. I'm curious about them. Are those bodies weighted or just a light weight foam/plastic? You replied earlier that you fish them behind a dodger, is this a lure you would recommend keeping really close to the dodger to add action? I'm guessing so since they look like a variation of a beaded spinner.

They are made of a lightweight material. no weight to them really. I have run them as short as 8 inches behind a dodger but have also run them by themselves. Being a spinner it has its own action but running them behind the dodger causes the spinner to speed up & slow down.

Draggins have been added on a limited basis.

I heard that you're working on some 'single hook' set-ups for Flaming Gorge. Tortuga & I have planned a trip for mid June & are looking to 'stock up' on some bigger lures. Of course, we will try some of our favorite New Melones "stuff" too. But they say to bring A LOT of stuff, as it's near impossible to replace it while we're there. We will also be fishing for kokes at Navajo Lake & heron Lake in New Mexico on this same trip.

Thanks Ken for that:)
Snookum9 I have most of my lures set to 15" that have a blade and I have run them short. Most the time if I run a short leader I use just a bug without the spinner.

Froggie good to hear from you ,I do have lures for the Gorge that we did good with last year and the purple passion was good everywhere we used it.If you see a pattern on my web site and want to "fix" it for the gorge( # 3 blade ,larger bodies, single hook.) just drop me a line and we'll get them to you

Heres one of the the Skinny Draggins Ken Mentioned
