Don, have you seen the aerosal propellant air brushes? The brush screws to a can of propellant. the cans are pretty cheap compared to compressors. I'm thinking of trying it for something like that lacquer.
I haven't seen them. Any links to a supply on the net?
I do have compressors. Maybe I should look into buying an airbrush setup?

A couple of questions if you would please. Can you brush it on and what happens when you apply UV to the paint coat?
silver bullets I don't think it will work unless you take the chrome off
I'm doing some test with roughing up the surface just enough to keep the paint on. Also working on different seal coats. Epoxy and Enamel vs. Lacquer.
