Halloween at Ice House

Ken and I made the trip up the hill to Ice House launching at 7 and putting big Draggins and Rapallas in to see if a big brown would want to come out and play. Wasnt long and Ken gets the first take down on a 4 in orange scale Draggin ( and my 1 dollar).A small rainbow thought it was a big bad fish maybe a 10in fish.I put the next fish in on a rapalla and after a bit more we changed up to some of the "new for 2011" gear and it was "on". We got bit at a steady pace after that while trolling to the back of the lake.46 fish to the net and almost that many misses.Water was 54 and we had cloudy to partly cloudy sky and little to no wind and no rain.Every thing came on top to 7 ft down and we changed lures after a couple fish so no one color ruled. We had several fish on the lures at Kokaneetackle.com Neon lights,Purple widow maker,Lip Smacker and Leprechaun All did well.One of the best days we have had this year.
