i realize most of yall don't have sandbass, but in the spring they school in very large numbers here in texas. yesterday i went out and caught 45 sandbass and 6 channelcats. i kept 19 to eat. most of them were about 14'' long and they weigh about 1.5# each. a few go 2#. the pictures are not real good, but will show what they look like. i will get some better pictures next week.
