Bear Lake 5-4-13

My son and went up to Bear lake yesterday to try our luck on some cuts, The " W " was having no part of it. There were some pretty good swells out there all morning after about 2 hours of that nonsense we decided to quit and try another day, but the motors ran well and so did everything else.

Dan, Roger clearly didn't tell you about our visit this week. Sheep everywhere, high winds and ice in the rod eyes.

101faceslap101 Wed May 1st was a miserable day. At first it didn't look too bad but as soon as we got on the water the big 'W' came on. I think there was one good day since then to fish it but not in the card deck I was holding. Rod eyes iced up & also the downrigger pulleys formed ice. All this coming week is calling for spring storms but there is a possibility of nicer days ahead at the end of the week. Plans are being made as I watch the days ahead. 101smily101 That trip wasn't a total waste as we went to Hyrum Res and shook off the skunk. signfishin
