I stopped by Sportsman’s Warehouse and saw these pretty pink flies and then wandered over to the bargain bin and found these stinger hooks. Not a tube fly but for $2 I thought they would be worth a couple of tries.

Nice looking components and as you point out, for $2 this is a good experiment. I like to visit the local fishing shops when we travel, always looking for kokanee lure components. For a while we were visiting family near Detroit regularly and I came home with lots of walleye lures and components. Still using some of it.
