    Painting Blades

For the smaller blades themselves I am going to use a salt shaker / paint brush to apply the paint. I am going to do a thin layer on the first coat 'white background' and apply the second coat with a small sprinkle of paint. For the smallest of blades I will only be doing the tips painted a...

    Painting Blades

I am going to be starting on my blade painting adventures this week, anyone have any design choices? So far I am going to be doing a white base coat, with glow pink or orange, with a final base coat of clear UV finish. Any patterns you guys would like to see? I will make some up and if you...

Was out there with campdog 4 bites 0 fish. 2 of them got off 20ft from the boat and 2 were not hooked when removed from the downrigger clip. After that it was very slow. Water rose 5ft since yesterday, fish are scattered and a lot of the places on the water is full of full trees and such so...

Went up with campdog today. Boat ramp was full of snow, and the snow plow piled snow blocking any access to the area, including surrounding areas where you could possibly launch from the beach.

    Sportsman's Warehouse is coming!

I am surprised to hear ace had sporting goods. Was it just a void they filled there? The ace near my house is pretty big beyond the tools bbq and wood you can find lawn furniture but that's about it.

How deep do you usually fish? I have only found one spot where I was able to really fish deep and that was the main river channel that leads toward the dam

I tried looking up the book but was unable to locate it on Amazon or other online stores. However, isn't that graph I listed above purely about 100% clear water and how color turns gray/black after it drops past that level? So even if it were 100% clear water, light is still dwindling the...

Yeah I agree I just have no idea how they can see those colors down there without glow. Not sure how effective uv would be at those depths. Most glows seem to last 15minutes it seems.

Could be the white corn, but dont know. I want to get out and go fishing, but I want to be as productive as possible. Which means presenting them with something they are able to see.

If Orange drops out at 30ft how are they able to see it? Was it normal, glow or uv? Do uv lures work that deep? Here is one of the charts I use Here is another

What do you recommend when you are fishing 50-100ft as the summer goes on. Not sure how deep you can actually fish reds and oranges I believe red is like 20ft and orange is 30. But then I hear people saying they catch them as low as 100ft without glow so that is confusing.
