    Yale

Another Yale perspective Snuck over to Yale this weekend in between trips out on Merwin. We fished down by the dam since it was closest to Cresap where we were camped. I have fished this area for years and ALWAYS catch some fish. All the fish at this end of the reservoir were deep and not...

Having a hard time getting out

That Springer on the right is one of the fattest Chinook I have ever seen. Looked like a crappie. I have to agree Kokanee are the best eating red meeated fish, but Spring Chinook isn't too far behind.

I have been checking the forum everyday but my wife keeps making excuses for not wanting to go up to Green Peter. Oh well maybe next week. RP

So I am guessing that the water level is OK for the docks since no one mentioned an issue??

Koke's at GP, are they not feeding

When Spring Chinook hide Kokanee get popular I think that many of the koke fisherman have tried Springer fishing and have gotten disillusioned. I have only been once but my reliable resources say that this year has been so-so. If the salmon fishing improves that will change. RP

    2010 Green Peter Thread

Just got back from GP with 38 nice fish to show for our efforts. This was our second trip and I think we are starting to get the hang of the place.Fished by the island early then up to the dam for the late morning bite. Had two young men in the boat, 11 and 15 years old, and by the time we left...

    75 Kok’s @ Green Peter 6/26/10

Thanks Thanks to DLM and Kokaneekid for sharing good info. Just a couple more questions on GP fishing. If this year is good, what is the kokanee fishing like on a normal year? The size, number and condition of this years crop is over the top! Lastly, does this fishery hold up into July? Thanks...

R &K Hoochies I know you guys posted this before but just where does a guy currently buy the R &K Hoochie? How far behind the sling blade are you running the lure? And are you using bait? Troll speed? Thanks

    Yale reports??

For what its worth I think Yale is going to be awesome in the next couple of weeks. We fished last weekend down by saddle dam and got a few with better success over by Yale Park the next day. The fresh water is keeping the fish scattered but once the lake settles down it is going to be real good...

    Weekend report from Yale

Just got back from Yale. We got 20 fish but we worked for them. They were nice fish again this year - my daughter caught one of the bigger Kokes I have ever seen at Yale, probably 14" Fish were scattered at all depths but the bigger owns were 30-40ft. I think it will get better as the water...
