Almost everyone that I have talked to has said that barometer is key to a good day of fishing and I was wondering if it really matters a whole ton and why. Also how many people rely on the barometer.

Hit Lucky Peak yesterday and fished from 7-9 p.m. Fished mostly in sight of spring shores. Trolled at speeds of 1.7-2.2 mph. Had 4-7 solid bites but only landed one koke, 15-17". Used green dodgers with pick hoochies tipped with shoepeg corn. Most fish were at depths of 20' and above.
