Simple is best... combine 1 cup non-iodized salt and 1 cup dark brown sugar. Sprinkle a layer of this in the bottom of glass/plastic container, add a layer of fish fillets, sprinkle again, fish again, etc. The salt mix layer only needs to be a 1/4" or so. The total amount of salt/sugar will...

    Gorge on 7-23

The black pearls behind lime green dodgers worked from 8-10 a.m., 60-80' down, at 1.5 mph, but couldn't buy a bite after that. Take a kid, or two, fishin'!

    spinner question

Thanks, nofish. We just returned from Marsh Crk with 5 Kokes and a rainbow for the grill tonight. Used Kokanee Killers and Tasmanian Devils behind Sling Blades at 35' mostly. Action was slow but they hit hard...didn't lose any. We caught most of them after everyone else gave up. Thanks again.

Pretty new to the kokanee gig...so how do you fish the 2 hook spinners? As a worm harness or naked? Thanks in advance!

    Cannon HS downriggers

Does anyone know how to tell from a photo (e.g. ebay) if a manual Cannon Easi-troll downrigger is an HS (high speed retrieve) compared to a older non-HS? It doesn't appear sellers always know and I want a couple of HS models. Thanks (a newbie)
