    I too was there on Sat. with grandson. he caught a nice 14" around 6:00 and that was it for the day. haven't dialed in the lake yet this year but I haven't given up either. Great derby, lots of fun

    Reel recomendation wanted

    I bought a Tica last year and didn't like the drag, returned it and found a Garcia 4600. It has a fast retrieve and is as smooth as I'll ever need. I built a rod from a fly rod blank put 12 guides on it and the combination is great for these crazy koke's. just my 2 cents.
