Fished GP today fished with the Okuma Kokanee rod verey nice vere sencative landed 7 out of the 12 we boated 2 were 16in. we were fishing 60ft black red and yellow bug from VT and home hade bead setup.

Went to GP after work Friday got on the water 5:45 fished to 8:00 landed 3 kokanee first on @ 60ft the secend @ 53 and the therd @ 45 dodger with pink hoochie the wind was blowing.

I run my leader 12 to 13 inch at 1.1 to 1.2 mph if i need more action i shorten my leater.

Yes it is normal for your cable to hum. some people think it spooks the fish I dont my cables hum from time to time and I still put fish in the boat. thay say when your cables hum you are trolling at the right speed.

I just swiched to Shark 12LBS wights thay track stright blow back I was doen 60 feet my fish finder showed me at 59 feet trolling 1.2 . my fish cach has double thay are not cheep abought $100 I think if you order them from the factery in canada you could save about $30
