#2 or 2/0 gami octopus hooks?

Some of my larger lures such as flatfish I like replacing the trebles with a 1/0 or 2/0. The smaller lures that range in size I will use #2 or #4.

Almost every Kokanee lure sold in a package comes with a #4. Knowing your home lakes and the size of the Kokes you'll be fishing for can help a person fine tune hook selection but a #4 is pretty universal in that it catches small to large Kokes.

I tie all my leaders (wedding rings) using 8# test with a #4 first & a #2 octopus trailing hook 2" behind.
So far the black hooks out used the red ones for some ungodly reason. (I have tons of the reds)....
