I have noticed in several threads about gami hooks for kokonee. When you are discussing the size of the hook is it a #2 or 2/0? Thanks from a newbie...
Almost every Kokanee lure sold in a package comes with a #4. Knowing your home lakes and the size of the Kokes you'll be fishing for can help a person fine tune hook selection but a #4 is pretty universal in that it catches small to large Kokes.
I tie all my leaders (wedding rings) using 8# test with a #4 first & a #2 octopus trailing hook 2" behind.
So far the black hooks out used the red ones for some ungodly reason. (I have tons of the reds)....
