I currently have a 24' travel trailer we use to leave at Lucerne Flaming Gorge and come up for 4-5 days during summer season. My wife suffers from a disease known as dystonia; a muscular disease not associated with muscular dystrophy. It forced a disability retirement at an early age. It affected her speech, walking, hand/arm function. As we both aged it became more difficult for her as falling came into play, more recently she fell breaking a rib. Long drives for her are now no more. We did celebrate our 50th anniversary last November.
We have a truck camper and tow our boat, usually have our friends with us, they have a pull trailer, after they unhook we launch the boat with his truck. I hate the idea of moving our TC just to launch or retrieve our boat. So I have been looking at electric trailer dolly’s. but most don’t have a brake and have a tendency to spin tires in soft gravel. Anyone out there have experience with trailer dolly’s?

I used one to push cars in and out of a shop some years ago. I don't se how well it would work. It was also 300lbs or so. Would be expensive too. Was $3200 to $4000 30 or so years ago. I also use a slide in camper. I put electric remote camper jacks on my camper. I can have it off and set up in 30 to 45 minutes. Just drop the trailer, slide out the camper, and the trailer drop hitch extender, now trucks available to move the boat as needed. As an added bonus, I'm Lazy so I drag my feet about putting the camper back in the truck, so I sometimes get an extra day maybe two......

Yes I agree, taking the camper off the truck would solve my issue, but my wife is pretty nervous about taking it on & off,
so we just leave it on. Thanks
