4/15 American Lake

I woke up this morning made coffee, my GF said Happy Birthday and didnt even have to ask what I wanted to do! We both had the boat loaded and ready by 7:30. Got on the lake by 8 and right outta the gate I had a huge hit. I thought it was on! But he never stuck around. Both Jessica and I bagged a couple of rainbows. No Kokes though. Jessica had a fish at the boat as I netted her fish my line got hooked up to another guys DR. Was a 5 min ordeal as after he unhooked me HIS line then snagged my DR ball! woops! hitmyfish I untangled him and tried to let go but he had tension on his line and I got stuck on his treble SEVERAL times101faceslap101 Wile Jess bagged her fish I should have pulled my gear as well. It was VERY crowded today. Needless to say I had a great time and we managed to jump my 14' kalamath completely out of water while hauling the mail across some jet sleds wake thumbsup Jess didnt like that much lol

Sounds like the standard report continues. At least you got out and Happy B-day by the way. Has the water warmed up a bit with these 60 degree temps. Or, still hovering in and around 46.5 to 47...
