Hit the water about 8:30 and headed to the same area I have been finding the fish and got one right of the bat and then nothing, the fish had moved out of that area. We fired up the big motor and headed down to anvil, dropped lines and started catching them. They were hanging on edges in about 50 feet of water. Pink and orange worked the best.
After that we went after rainbows and got a few but its still a bit early for that.
We headed back to ramp stopping along the way looking for lake trout and I was able to get one just a touch over 20lbs.
It was a great day on the water.
