I got checked by WGF again this weekend. They were professional, kind, courteous, happy to see that we were legit with throwable buoys, fire extinguishers, fish in the box, licenses, etc.

They approached carefully, were prepared to look at our paperwork through binoculars, thanked us for our time, and wished us good luck.

When they were done, they motored away at a low speed before kicking up their motor so as to not leave us in their wake.

It's really not that hard to be nice. They even let someone I know go without a ticket for not having a throwable buoy. They think that buoy makes you safer. I don't really agree, but it shows they were actually concerned with safety rather than writing tickets.

The fishing was great with pink and orange between 45 and 60 feet. Got a boat record koke, a rainbow that tied the boat record, limits for everyone, and shot a 21 pound carp with a spear gun.
