I'm always trying to think of new ways and new menu items to cook while out on the boat. Breakfast is one of the primary meals we have on the boat while out fishing in the early mornings. I wanted to add pancakes and bacon to my arsenal so I just picked this up from Amazon. 2 day delivery and free shipping. The griddle measures approx. 10" X 16" and fits nicely on my boat propane grill. I'm already imagining eggs, hashbrowns and pancakes while waiting for the fish to bite.

I still have never done the breakfast on the boat but that looks awesome. I would agree with DLM you would need to pick your day. But when you are on the lake "that day" and its just glass and three other boats around just trolling it would be great.

Dang, never thought of that! Now you got me thinking..101idea101 I can smell it already, calm waters, sunrise just over the mountains, bacon and eggs sizzling on the grill, cup of coffee in one hand spatula in the other, the smell drifting over the water to the other boats and a big thumbsup on my face.

Yesterday I was able to pull off corned beef hash and poached eggs on the boat using these small foil tins from Wal Mart. The temps were in the 30's and a steaming, piping hot breakfast was delish.

Believe me, this is great stuff. 101goodpost101 Dave got me into this over a year ago. Now I don't go any where with out my on board grill. All it takes is a little something like a sausage & biscuit or a hoagie to heat up if you don't go all out to make a full blown breakfast. That little hot meal during cold days on the water can make things alot less miserable under certain conditions.

wow that looks good, maybe I will grind up whats left of the st.pattys corned beef and make some hash
