Made a day trip run to the Gorge on Tuesday. Fishing was good with 22 caught. Released majority and kept my limit. Average size was in the 2 1/2-3lb range. thumbsup Used fusion dodgers with orange micro hoochie on one setup and cotten candy pink on the other. Caught a couple of laker pups to add to the mix. Met up with a group of friends in from northern Calif. Got together for a little potluck dinner at the end of the day before making my way back on my 3hr journey home. 101cheers101 Fishing is phenominal right now at the Gorge. worthy12 This is truly one of the better years. I got a call from a local friend who wants to do a trip real soon to the Gorge. Looks like I might be draggin' my tail literally again. tooexcited Sorry, no pics this trip.

Sounds like a great trip. I have taken a few day trips and they do take there toll on you, most noticeably on the way home.

It doesn't end there either. The next day has no motivational purposes at all except for laying around trying to recover. But misery loves company which is why I'm already planning another day trip with a friend soon.

Good on ya Roger sounds like a good day of fishing. Be careful about posting how many fish you caught. There are those who will accuse you of bragging, and then will tell you that all those fish you released will die away. There are those on this site that want you to keep the first three kokanee you catch, then load up and go home. Hope you get a chance to head back up to the gorge soon.

I here you Tim. I wonder if they know that the world is coming to an end eventually for all. 101whocares101

Alright, Roger. Were you fishing from Lucerne? I'll be at Buckboard 19-21 and hope the fishing, but not weather, stays hot.

Chuck, I launched out of Lucerne and went as far north as Middle Marsh. You should do good at the Buckboard area. 101ok101

Sounds good Roger, the wife and I are planning on spending a couple days up there fishing for the Kokes on the 25th, we haven't fished it together for probably 15 years or so. Been a lot of changes since then. We sure hope we can find some nice Kokes while we are there. Take care my friend maybe we will see ya up there that weekend, I'm trying to talk "Smoke on the Water" to join us that weekend.awesomereport

Hey Pete, heading back up there tomorrow 7-16 for another day trip. Have a good friend going with his 9yr old grandson who has never fished for kokes. Fishing is super phenominal there this year and can't wait to get back on the water. thumbsup

Tom
I'll be up on the 18th thru Sunday. Give me a call if you get a chance or drop by the KOA. I was up this last weekend and did very very very well. A couple hot spots you should hit first. See yo this weekend.

Good luck on your trip tomorrow, you know me I have been busy with the walleye pretty much all summer. We are headed back to Starvation for a couple days on the 18th.

Didn't see a fishing report back from your last trip to the Gorge. The wife and I are leaving after work today, going to spend another furlough day on the water. We will be fishing the ranch area and North, hope we can find them.signfishin
