Detroit 2015 Fishing Reports

With the minnow size fish at Green Peter again this year, Detroit is the place to go in the Willamette Valley. While only a five fish lake, so far we are finding limits in the 12 to 13 inch range and pretty fat. You have to work for them but it can be done.

Hit Detroit this morning at 8:30 am Landed 5 kokanee 3 were about 8 inch's 1 fish was 13.5 the other 14.5 after catching the 3rd dinky koke was about ready to hall everything up and call it a day when the 14.5 hooked up. IT WAS FISH ON! fished two hours landed 15-20 rainbows in the 10 - 12 inch range as well. Kokanee were hooked on special green wedding style spinners behind gold Vance's dodgers. depth between 40 -50 feet trolling very slow.
