As you expected I am referring to your favorite receipe for preparing your corn before fishing. Does one of your concoctions stand out as a favorite? I've just been using it out of the can and am ready to take it to the next level.

Most of the guys that make their own are like Col. Sanders and keep the 11 herbs and spices locked up in a vault. I'm waiting to be shocked if someone coughs up their secret recipe.

what works well for me and is my go to is a krill and crawfish mix also on Greenpeter vanilla extract and vanilla vodka mix works very well, what you need to do is just mix and match also try the gels and glo scents . not any one thing works every day so mix up a variety. I mix up 4 condiment containers with one being plane so I can use or mix something on the fly. dfly

I've tried alot of scents over the years and they've all worked but a couple of my most consistent has been garlic and kokanee special. As always each batch gets a few drops of anise, a sprinkle of wizard kokanee killer korn magic, and the garlic batches get a sprinkle of pro-cure slam-ola garlic powder. The other batches i make up (usually take 3-4) are either vanilla extract, a mixture of shrimp/prawn and krill, or plain unscented. One of the batches gets dyed pink.

Pro Cure makes an unscented, UV gel that would be the perfect base for the kitchen scientist. I've heard some guys go to the pet store and get brine shrimp and puree them with a variety of ingredients. In the grand scheme of things, I figure there is always going to be a few folks that I out fish and a few that out fish me. And some days the order is reversed. The last couple of years I was using gels and this year I bought the same flavors but in oils to see if the corn absorbs the scent any better.
